Bahamian Connection Restaurant was estaplished in 1978 by Arlington Ingraham
better known as Big Links from Tarpun Bay Eluthera and Bain Town, and West Street
Nassau Bahamas. Bahamian Connection Restaurant is a family owned business
operated by Andy, Philip, Richard and "Mike" Ingraham of Fort Lauderdale Florida.
Dennis Knowles of Nassau Bahamas and Dian and Debbie Ingram also played an
instrumental role in the continued development of The Bahamian Connection
restaurant brand. All of the Ingram kids pitch in from timt to time to help
cook, clean and host at the facilities including Hasan, Shamado, Majogany,
Ebony, Britney, Janeh, Jade, Summery Sky and even some of the wives including
Marie, Gayle and a host of relatives and friends, you know who you are. Of
course the major role is held by Philip Ingraham who took the reigns after
his father passed away. Philip and Andy Ingram left lucerative positions at
Bellsouth to ensure that the family business had a shot at surviving.
Bahamian Connection Restaurant formerly known as Tucker's Restaurant was first
established in Carver Ranches, Broward County and continued todevelop and
evolve over the years. The Bahamian Connection Restaurant is located at
the Bahamian Connection Village along with the newly remodeled Bahamian
Connection Grill.
The Bahamian Connection Village is a unique location that hosts a weekly
Junkanoo Rush Out every Friday afternoon into the night. On Saturday
afternoons there is the weekly 3-some Saturdays where girls in threes
get in free. On Sunday evenings there is the Grown And Sexy night with a
live band and the house DJ spinning whatever your heart desires. Other
events include Bahamian Jazz Night, Karaoke Nights and Spanish Karaoke
Night.
